How rich are you?

They have a hot rod class. I wonder if rat rods count.

Not rich enough probably

Don’t know, but I want to.

I equate those people with show dog owners.

I think you’d need a disguise:

Nobody would ever notice.

I think it’s a question of how much money you have, and how rare the car is.
I mean if it’s some rat rod Ford flattie that you and your redneck uncle cobbled together while drinking Miller Lite and jamming to Alice Cooper, my guess is “Hell no!”
But if you have a one of a kind barn find, and I really mean that in the truest sense of the term, and it’s something that’s amazingly rare, one off coach built, like a ratty version of Count Trossi’s Mercedes SSK, then “Maybe.”

And you can use the same reference for their wives.

Depends on the rarity. If you dragged a Bugatti Royale out of a swamp, they’d probably let you park it there.

You might be able to get away with an unrestored barn find Bugatti Atlantique

Depends on the car, they have a Preservation class now.
